O(regon) B(attle) O(f) the B(ooks) is returning to Grout. Come learn more about OBOB and what it means to participate or coach an OBOB team. OBOB Book Titles and other helpful resources are available at Oregon Battle of the Books – Battle for your School…with BOOKS!

Enjoy delicious Mexican food and support Grout Elementary at the same time! 

NOTE: You MUST let your server or cashier know that you are with Grout Elementary for 15% of proceeds from your visit to be donated to Grout Elementary PTA. Dine-in or take-out, but no third party vendors 

10/28 Bingo Night @ Gigantic Brewery 6pm- 8pm

Come enjoy a fun night out with the Grout community at Gigantic Brewery playing Bingo while fundraising for the PTA. Donations Needed: the PTA needs your help donating items to be raffled at Bingo night and other PTA events. E-mail blac3538@gmail.com to learn more.

10/31 Fall Garden Work Party 9am - 2:30 pm

Let’s get our garden ready for the Fall season!  Come meet new garden chair Jennifer Reineck (morning) and our new instructor Anna from GrowPortland (afternoon). Bring your gloves and your joy of gardening with the Grout community. Donuts and Cider Will Be Provided by the PTA

11/07: Community Grant Funding Proposal Submissions are Due

Grout PTA is funding requests from teachers, staff, parents, and students. Funding proposals can include a wide range of ideas but should relate to the PTA’s priority program areas:

• Student enrichment and support 

• Teacher and classroom support

• Enhancing shared outdoor and indoor spaces

• Community building and family engagement

• Service opportunities

Calling all artisans, crafters, and makers Grout PTA is hosting a Makers Market on Saturday, November 15th at Grout elementary. Sign-ups for booth space is available here https://forms.gle/koRYiAVS5WkzCagi6 Please spread the word that booth space is open to community members.

11/24 & 11/25 Clothing Swap

Grout PTA's annual clothing swap will return Monday, November 24th and Tuesday, November 25th. Please save your gently used clothing items for this event. We will begin accepting donations Monday, November 17th

Please help support the Grout No Stuff Fundraiser. All money raised supports the Grout PTA and all we do; including funding the mural project, community grants, providing teacher stipends and more! Our goal this year is $5000.
